Your new music teacher…

Want to learn how to be a better musician? What better time to get started than now? I started as a tutor in college and have been teaching at a local school since. I teach on Zoom or Facetime. What you’ll get is materials to practice, along with personalized lessons plans.

Although I’m a pro, I do like to become somewhat of a friend in the process as I believe being a good musician comes from a personal place. And to bring your inner musician to the forefront requires a safe space. A willingness to make mistakes, honesty, and an ambition to learn is all you need to get started!

Send an email to erik@erikryde.com with the subject “LESSON”. I am in the EST time zone, but I can be somewhat of an early bird. Send me your availabilities and we will make it work!

how much?*

For 1 lesson only - $70 for an hour.

For recurring lessons - $60 for an hour (billed monthly).

Too much? Send an email anyway and we can discuss other options!

* 30 minute sessions are half rate.
